Description: To know the Gaucho is to know the Argentinian local past.
San Antonio de Areco, a small town where Argentinian tradition was born, with both old and new buildings in the typical colonial architectural style. In its streets we will find the magic and mixture of history, countrylife, gauchos and the calm of a hospitable and quiet town. We will visit the Güiraldes Museum. We will go to a “estancia” (ranch) where we will taste the traditional “asado” (barbecue), and will enjoy the gaucho’s activities, dances, games and skills. At the end of the tour we will taste “pastelitos” (traditional argentinian sweet pie). San Antonio de Areco Town: gauchos, countryside, traditions, handicrafts. A place to learn and enjoy yourself. Return to Buenos Aires: 6 PM approximately. The price includes: Transportation, guide (Spanish, English), barbecue and pastelitos, drinks and ticket to museum.
